En début de semaine (04/04), un Agent ENL nous fait remarquer que trois portails bleus arrivent bientôt aux 150 jours de capture, et donc qu’il devient urgent de les casser. Les portails sont sur le Massif de la Sainte Baume, à au moins 1h de marche.
Des volontaires sont trouvés, mais alors @V4karian propose une idée : quitte à monter, autant faire un field, non ?!?
Aller, c’est parti !
Des agents sont recrutés, on est motivé, on vise gros. Très gros, même. Trop gros en fait. Pas assez de gens, trop compliqué. Tant pis, @V4karian dessine autre chose, un troll quand même, mais plus abordable. C’est bon cette fois, c’est faisable. Aucun CP visé, juste pour le troll. L’opération est fixée au samedi matin (08/04).
Vendredi, @Sharkz4 livre des clés autour d’une bière (c’est bon la bière).
Samedi, le courageux @Denzz83 monte à la Boule Blanche… EN VTT ! La montée fut dure et éprouvante, et il l’a faite (1h40) ! Au même moment, @V4karian monte en vitesse le Garlaban, pour aller farmer des clés avant de tirer sur la Boule Blanche. Il observe la destruction du portail, puis sa capture. Il guette chaque pose de résonateur, puis le « GO » de @Denzz83 arrive, et le lien est fait !
La base est posée, les intentions sont on ne peut plus claires. @Vakarian tire deux liens vers Roquefort la Bédoule, pour défendre l’axe et préparer la suite. Puis il redescend en courant (50 min pour monter, 25 pour descendre) pour fermer les couches. Pendant ce temps, @Denzz83 a ancré son vélo à un arbre, et descend dans le vallon pour casser les deux portails restants. Ensuite, il remonte, et redescend à Plan d’Aups. Durée totale : 3h50 !
@V4karian arrive à Roquefort la Bédoule, et ferme la première couche. Il enchaine avec la seconde, puis la troisième et enfin la quatrième !
Le troll est fait, les quatre couches sont posées sur Aubagne. C’est l’heure de l’apéro !
GG à tous, et merci pour ce troll ! C’était mon premier bag d’Aubagne, et sans doute pas le dernier !

Early in the week (04/04), an ENL Agent told us there are three RES portals at almost 150 days, so we need to take them down ASAP. Those portals are on the Sainte Baume Massif, and the first portal is an hour’s walk.
Motivated players are found, but then @V4karian throws an idea: OK, since we’ll get there, how about throwing a field too? Yes, let’s do this!
Agents are hired, everyone is motivated, we aim big. Really big. Too big, in fact. Not enough people, too much complicated. Never mind, @V4karian draws something else; a troll nonetheless, but doable. Yes, that’s it, we can do it. No CP is targeted; we’ll do this only for the lulz. Operation will be done on Saturday (08/04).
Friday, @Sharkz4 delivers some keys around a beer (beer is good).
Saturday, @Denzz83 aka The Courageous goes up to the White Ball (“Boule Blanche” in French, name of the first and highest of the three targeted portals)… on a BIKE! The climbing was hard and tiring, and he did it (1h40)! At the same time, @V4karian climbs quickly the Garlaban (the highest point above Aubagne), in order to farm some keys before linking to the White Ball. He watches its destruction, then its capture. He follows each resonator, until @Denzz83 sends his “GO”. The link is done!
The basis is OK; the message cannot be clearer. @V4karian shoots two defensive links to Roquefort la Bédoule. Then he runs down as quickly as possible to close the fields (50 min to climb up, 25 to run down). On the other side, @Denzz83 anchors his bike to a tree, and goes down the glen to destroy the two remaining guardians. Then he goes up again, and finally goes back to Plan d’Aups, where his car is. Total duration: 3h50.
@V4karian finally arrives to Roquefort la Bédoule, and closes the first layer. He closes the second layer, then the third one and finally the fourth one!
The troll is done; four layers are established over Aubagne. Now is the time for an aperitif!
GG to everybody, and thanks for that troll! It was my first bag of Aubagne, and not the last, for sure!
